During a conversation with T-Mobile CEO Mike Sievert, Reid praised Swift, saying: “I’m going to tell you, she’s a good girl first of all. Her dad is a big football fan. When I was in Philadelphia, he was a big Eagles fan. They’re from Pennsylvania. He played at Delaware. And so she had a pretty good idea of what football is all about, probably not at this level, but a pretty good idea.”

Reid went on to share how Swift endeared herself to the team in an unexpected way. “She handled it right. She came in and made the offensive linemen Pop Tarts. Literally made them Pop Tarts. She didn’t give me any, but she made them… She went right to the offensive linemen and she was automatically brought into the fold. You get the offensive line guys figured out, the defensive line guys figured out, you’re okay.”

Reid noted that Swift’s actions, though seemingly simple, had a significant impact on the team dynamic. “And kind of behind the scenes to kind of fit in, she didn’t even know she was doing this I don’t think, but she likes to cook,” he said. “So she made the offensive linemen these homemade Pop Tarts.” Unfortunately for Reid, he didn’t get to sample the treats himself.
